Ingredients
- 3g Hojicha powder
- 40ml hot water (around 80°C)
- 2 soft dates (soaked until tender)
- 40ml oat milk (for blending)
- 2g white miso paste
- 200ml milk of choice
- Ice
- Extra water if needed (to loosen the date caramel)
Method
- Start with your Hojicha shot
- Whisk 3g Hojicha Powder with 40ml of water at 80 degrees
- Soak two dates until soft
- Blend with 40ml of oat milk and 2g of white miso until smooth and caramel-like (loosen with water if needed)
- Add the date caramel to the bottom of your glass
- Add in your ice and pour over 200ml of milk of your choice
- Slowly pour your Hojicha shot on top to finish and enjoy
